This is a scene from the bestseller novel of the Dragon Lance Series, "Dragonlance Chronicles: Dragons of Winter Night". My scatch is a bit old, I worked on it when I read the book.
Kitiara riding her dragon, Skie, about to kill Sturm .Sturm stands out on the front wall and fights the lead dragon, and is killed by its rider, Kitiara.
This is a hand sketch. For colouring Photoshop CS2 is used.
Approx. 38 hours with a mouse.
